Childhood obesity is a growing problem in our society. Not only are youth more inactive, they are misinformed about health and exercise. L’Usine Kids is here to help! Our goal is simple: get kids moving, provide them with easy and fun exercises that will make them love the idea of health, and provide them with the knowledge regarding food and exercise, they may be missing. Our goal is not to turn them into elite athletes, instead, we want to teach them how to live healthier lives and turn exercising into a fun sport, which they will continue for their entire lives.
L’Usine Gatineau will begin offering kids classes at 10am on Saturdays starting on July 16th, 2011 for a 5 week period ending August 13th, 2011. The cost will be $80.00 per child or $150.00 for 2 children. A drop in fee of $20/child will also be effect. We will accept any youth from the age of 6-17.
